Building TrakPro's construction payment platform across the UK and Ireland.

The Background

TrakPro is an Irish platform for subcontractor commercial management, bringing payment claims, variations, dayworks, retention, contra charges and compliance into one system instead of spreadsheets and email chains. It is used by contractors including CBRE, Collen, Chas Berger and Comer Group across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Portugal and Germany, backed by Enterprise Ireland and certified to ISO 27001.

The old site was static and basic. It carried none of that weight.

The Challenge

TrakPro sells into two markets that share a language and use different words for the same document. In the United Kingdom a subcontractor submits a payment application, under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996. In Ireland it is a payment claim, under the Construction Contracts Act 2013. Get that wrong and the site reads as software built for someone else. On top of it, a product that replaces entire workflow had to be made obvious to an enterprise audience and the new site had to take over the old domain without losing anything it had earned.

The Solution

TrakPro came to Nues with a brief for a landing page and a product far bigger than one. The work ran in three tracks. First, design from scratch in Figma: competitor analysis, a full design system and custom illustration for the "Before TrakPro"section that carries the argument on the home page.

Second, localisation. We audited the entire site against both acts before touching Webflow Localization, found and fixed the inconsistencies in the base copy, then built Ireland as a second locale where terminology switches on every instance that carries legal meaning and stays put where it does not. Third, the build: a reusable component structure, a CMS the marketing side runs without us, a custom PDF viewer on PDF.js, a lazy mounted booking widget, analytics and cookie consent and a complete redirect map through Webflow with a Couldflare fallback.

The Result

The numbers moved in every category that a search engine and an AI assistant read first. SEO went from to a perfect 100, on both mobile and desktop. Best Practices reached 100 on mobile, with the third party cookies from the Vimeo and Calendly embeds handled rather than left to drag the score down. On an independent audit, AI readiness went from the lowest grade on the old site to the highest on the new one, and on-page SEO climbed the same way, from the bottom of the scale to the top. Mobile performance rose almost 20% and it did so while the new site carries video, an interactive markets map and product imagery the old three-page site never had.

Underneath the scores, the site now replaces the old one on the same domain with a complete redirect map, so no URL it had earned was lost. Visitors in Ireland and the United Kingdom read the site in the terminology their own contracts use. The TrakPro team publishes their Toolbox Talks series through the CMS with no developer involved.

The Achievement

  • 23% fewer issues to fix on an independent audit, with AI readiness and on-page SEO both moving from the lowest grade to the highest
  • From 3 indexable pages to a full multi-page site, all of it discoverable where the old site exposed almost nothing to a search
  • Two markets served from one site in the terminology each law requires: payment applications in the United Kingdom under the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, payment claims in Ireland under the Construction Contracts Act 2013, with reciprocal hreflang the old site never had
  • A CMS the TrakPro team updates on their own, publishing and editing content with no developred involved.
