Scaling Ballerine’s web presence with 16x engagement growth and 30+ new pages.
The Background
Ballerine operates at the intersection of compliance, fraud prevention, and AI infrastructure, a category that’s evolving faster than most. Their platform serves payment service providers, banks, fintechs, and marketplaces, each with their own risk workflows and regulatory pressures.
With a growing product suite covering everything from merchant underwriting to agentic commerce, Ballerine needed a website that could keep pace with the breadth of their offering and the speed at which it was expanding.
The Challenge
The old Ballerine website had grown into a bottleneck. Page speed was slipping as the site expanded, the CMS structure couldn’t easily handle the steady stream of new products and use cases coming out of the roadmap, and even small marketing updates had become development tasks. The site needed to match the speed of the business, both literally and operationally.
The Solution
Ballerine came to NUES with a fully realized design in Figma and a clear goal: build it right, build it fast, and build it to last. The development side ran in three parallel tracks. First, a component library built before any pages went into production. Every reusable piece of the design was set up once and used across all 30+ pages, with one immediate result: new pages now ship in hours, not days, because the building blocks are already there.
Second, a CMS architecture designed for the marketing team to manage independently, with pages, products, and resources structured so that adding a new use case page wouldn't require engineering involvement. Third, performance baked in from the first line of code, with attention paid to load times, image optimization, and Core Web Vitals at every stage of the build.

The Result
The impact was immediate and measurable. Page speed went from a bottleneck to a baseline, with the new site loading fast across every page and every device. The marketing team gained the autonomy they needed, new use case pages and product pages now ship without engineering involvement, and what used to take weeks now takes hours. Most telling, average engagement time on the site grew 16x compared to the previous version, with visitors spending significantly more time exploring Ballerine’s product surface.
The Achievement

- Reusable component library covering the full design system
- Scalable CMS architecture giving the marketing team full publishing autonomy
- Performance optimization across load times, Core Web Vitals, and image delivery
- 16x increase in average user engagement time compared to the previous site
- Faster turnaround on new product, use case, and resource pages
- Three competitors reaching out to ask who built the site
